WMSP is adding to its already strong commitment to the coverage of college football with the addition of Chuck Oliver and his show Southern Sports Today 5-7 weekdays.

“I’m really thrilled to be on WMSP in Montgomery every day said Oliver, who is a native of Atlanta and a graduate of Auburn University. “On a professional level this a huge deal for me and for the show. On a personal level, my parents live in Alabama (Mobile) and with my wife and I spending so much time in Alabama every year for the holidays it’s like another home for us.

Southern Sports Today is a show devoted to, and ONLY to college football in the South 52 weeks a year.

“I couldn’t be more happy with the addition of Southern Sports Today to the WMSP lineup,” said Program Director Bob Wooddy. “Chuck is not only a proven journalist as a writer and broadcaster, but he’s also acutely aware of what interests sports fans in Montgomery.”
